PROJECT OVERVIEW
Through the Global Carbon Management Academy, the Foundation, Global CCS Institute, Stanford University, Imperial College London, and the University of Pennsylvania collaborated on a 3-day course in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Sponsored by the Ministry of Energy and supported by the Carbon Management Challenge, the course covered CCS fundamentals, key advancements, the policy and regulatory landscape, and opportunities in the space.
The urgency of climate training and capacity building is reflected in the interest we’ve received from the global environment community and country governments. We look forward to expanding our courses to other regions of the world.
